Jillisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults discover their strengths, overcome life's challenges, and build lasting resilience. She believes that every person has the capacity for growth and healing when they feel supported, understood, and empowered.
Jillisa takes a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. She incorporates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), to help clients develop practical coping skills, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and make meaningful progress toward the life they want to live.
She enjoys working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation challenges, and relationship difficulties. Her goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and encouraged throughout their therapeutic journey.
Jillisa earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and is committed to lifelong learning and professional growth as she continues expanding her clinical skills to provide the highest quality care. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they build confidence, strengthen resilience, and create lasting positive change.
