Meet The Team
Kim Holtmann, LCMHC
Owner and Founder
Hello! I am a mother, wife, and lover of martial arts and crafty projects of all kinds. I began my career in public education in 2005 and have been working with kids, teens, and adults in various settings since that time. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and I specialize in neurodiversity, trauma, and physical and emotional regulation.
I am a strengths based, neurodiversity and gender affirming therapist with training in EMDR, Play Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Sand Tray, and Expressive Arts. I enjoy working with kids, teens, and adults of all ages spanning a large range of diagnoses including PTSD, ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing Differences, Physical and Emotional Regulation, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Dissociative Disorders, Sexual Abuse, and Trauma.
My primary goal as a therapist is to provide a space where clients feel welcome and valued, so that they can explore the things in their lives that are challenging, validate their experiences, identify their strengths, and walk confidently toward their goals. I look forward to meeting you!
Natalie Jordan, LCMHC
I am passionate about helping young clients develop healthier thought patterns, recognize their own strengths, and learn strategies to help understand and manage their emotions. I love working with children and adolescents to foster positive mental health within their families. My clinical experience is primarily in anxiety, emotion regulation, behavioral concerns, and school issues.
I operate from a Strengths-Based approach and use multiple treatment approaches including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused brief therapy, and expressive arts methods to meet the unique needs of my clients. I believe that therapy should be supportive, collaborative, and meet children where they are developmentally.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and a Licensed School Counselor in North Carolina. I completed my Master of Education in School Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and I am currently working to become a Registered Play Therapist.
I look forward to working with you and your family!
Elizabeth Croom, LCMHCA
Hi, I’m Elizabeth! I am passionate about empowering individuals through compassionate counseling and evidence-based mental health supports. With my extensive hands-on experience in school settings, I specialize in helping youth and families navigate challenges both in and beyond the school setting. I am especially drawn to supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and neurodiversity challenges. My approach, rooted in empathy, active listening, and collaboration, ensures that the clients I serve feel heard, supported, and equipped with practical strategies that foster growth. I welcome the opportunity to connect and collaborate on meaningful solutions that support individuals and strengthen communities.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. I also hold active licenses in school counseling and teaching, along with a Montessori certificate. I completed my undergraduate studies at East Carolina University, majoring in early childhood and elementary education. During my educational career, I served students aged toddlers through high school seniors. I completed my Master’s Degree in Education at North Carolina State University in School Counseling. My program had a heavy focus on clinical counseling, which has prepared me to counsel clients in schools and private practice.
I met my husband during our days at ECU, and we have three children. I love spending time with my family and friends. In my free time, I love to travel and would happily spend sunrise to sunset on a beach with a book. I look forward to partnering with you on your mental health journey.

My clinical background centers around supporting young children and adolescents through a variety of lived experiences, including mental illness, chronic physical illness, transitional periods, and bereavement. My clinical experience encompasses children and adolescents with various personal struggles, including emotional dysregulation, behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, ADHD, anticipatory grief, and bereavement.
I honor each client as the expert of their own life, operating with cultural awareness, empathy, and humility. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual client, utilizing a variety of modalities that best align with the client’s comfort level and communicated goals. These include, but are not limited to, child-centered play therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, child-parent relationship therapy, and expressive art therapy. My primary goal is to serve as a safe and validating figure for children and adolescents, with whom they feel comfortable being themselves, sharing their concerns, and celebrating their achievements. I believe in working collaboratively with each child, adolescent, and family to ensure individual growth and positive interpersonal relationships. I look forward to getting to know you and your family!
